Hopes and Fears
Most of my posts on this blog are reblogs and I tend to stay away from original content because Tumblr has become a place for myself (and many others) where it feels somewhat liberating to just post and reblog things that make you happy or are inspired by. But tonight I was lying in bed at home thinking about one of my favorite albums by Keane called, Hopes and Fears. Not only do I love every song on that record but it also reminded me of times in my past that I look back on with joy and regret.
Carrie Bradshaw would probably be telling me some kind of bubblegum excuse as for why I shouldn’t be regretful of things in my past, but that just wouldn’t be the truth! I am not trying to sound sappy or like one of those whiney preteen bloggers I swear but if Cher could help me turn back time I would probably do a few things differently. Nothing drastic of course but just differently.
My tumblr’s main purpose is to be an inspirational blog for myself. It is a place in the world wide web that I have personalized so that I can always look back at the photos and day dream my way into old movie sets, hillside european castles, or magical hidden beaches. Day dreaming is some what expected of me…I am a Pisces after all. I do have hopes that others can share their similarities with my blog, but I will never fear about not obtaining large amounts of followers because that is a silly thing to care for after all.
On a lighter and less personal note, I recommend everyone watch New Girl. Its like I Love Lucy meets Friends. Okay enough blabber from me..go check it out!
